Introduction

OpenSource Data Platform (ODP) is an open source distribution of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem. The ODP distribution provides the latest versions of components released by Apache with all the necessary bug fixes to make all components interoperable in your production environments.

ODP comes with an optimized version of Apache Ambari which is a completely open source platform for provisioning, managing, monitoring and protecting Apache Hadoop clusters.
