Descriptions of New Features

OpenSource Data Platform (ODP) 1.2.2.0 provides you with several new capabilities. You must learn about the new features and their benefits to use the new features in ODP 1.2.2.0.

New Operating System Support

With ODP 1.2.2.0 , Clemlab introduced support of Ubuntu which is an open source Operating system.

In OpenSource Data Platform (ODP) 1.2.2.0, all components already supported are now packaged as debian files and will be automatically installed by Apache Ambari.

Known Bugs and Fix (Apache Ambari)​

  • Fix Ambari Metrics Dashboard not compatible with latest Grafana
  • Fix Ambari Ui when adding a repo parsing was not correct
  • Fix Solr Collection not creating when starting Ranger
  • Fix Ozone Plugin not syncing with Apache Ranger
  • Since 1.1 and for now Apache Ozone can be installed only in standalone with Apache Ranger and Apache Solr to provides ACL.
